Some of you might remember how I warned you about the piece of “software” named MoviePass recently. Now it looks like various people have had it with those kind of service who only scam people and fuck them over so they have to reinstall everything on their PCs.
If you’re waiting for Firefox 2.0 then you’ll have to wait a week or 2 longer than you might have expected in the first place.
This one is nasty. I know some of you guys already installed this in the past or even recently and it can/will make your life on the internet a living hell. It’s called MoviePass and some places you might see it mentioned as “moviepass.tv” and “MediaPipe”. Please read this and understand that this is to protect you from malicious programs.
Firefox has now been downloaded 200 million times and is also taking bigger bites of the markets from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. And why am I bringing this up?
Just a small note in case you haven’t heard. Microsoft will make sure you get Internet Explorer 7 when it’s ready. Wether you like it or not.
You would be surprised if you knew how many people don’t protect their computer when they’re surfing the internet. I can’t stress this enough; you have to protect yourself on the internet. It only takes one single website with malicious software to screw up a lot for you. I recently spend 3 whole days trying to clean up a notebook with extremely important files and business info on it, without any luck. So you can probaly understand why I try to protect my computers as much as I possible can and that includes Windows Defender.
Windows Defender is a product from Microsoft and it mainly helps you protect yourself against spyware, pop ups and threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software. The reason why I decided to mention it right now is because it’s free and if you don’t want to pay for protection you have other options, like Windows Defender.
When all that is said and done I have to admit that I’m still a huge fan of the older programs like Norton AntiVirus, McAfee and Kaspersky. They are dedicated antivirus programs that has been around for a long time and they are working hard on fighting all kind of things that can hit your computer.

A. Some stupid webmasters have special scripts running where they can change your startup page without you knowing it. Ofcourse we would never do something like that. You can change it back by taking the steps written above
