Firefox 2.0

August 17th, 2006

If you’re waiting for Firefox 2.0 then you’ll have to wait a week or 2 longer than you might have expected in the first place.

The new Firefox 2.0 will be out some time in october, Most people thought it would be released in september but the latest rumours say october.

Most news sites expect the new Firefox 2.0 to come with a built-in spell checker, some sort of anti-phishing system and improved search functions.

(it’s like IE. Just much more secure)

And while we’re at rumours. According to Paul Thurrot, a journalist who’s a specialist when it comes to Microsoft, you can expect their new Vista system out in store in october as well. However, it should only be Microsoft’s big clients who will get Vista that early. The rest of us will have to wait several months.

That could turn out to be a good thing
